Gong Xi Fa Cai!

So it's that time of the year again! Chinese all over the world will welcome the Year of the Ox on 26th Jan.

What will the year be like?
The OX year is a conservative year, one of traditions and values. This is not a year to be outrageous. A slow but steady year.

This OX year will bring stability and growth where patience and diligence pays off.

This is a year of Harvest - when we reap what we have sown. Take care of business this year, do not let things slide.

What would Rowie look out for?
1. Mandarin oranges: addictive! Big or small, I love 'em!

2. Reunion dinner: you'll never get the same dishes until the next CNY! I especially like Hou See Fatt Choy!

3. Arrowroot chips (nga ku): mmmm my favorite!

4. Family! Yay to family & home! :)

5. Ang pau: who doesn't like money? TBH it's really more of a traditional thing than something of utmost importance to me :)

All in all...
I just hope this year will be better than the last, that I'll grow up & that my family will be happy ;) Happy CNY folks!
