Steamed Fish at Ta Tuan Yuan

I've always had steamed fish at Sg Besi, but bf prefers Ta Tuan Yuan in Bukit Raja. The place gets crowded after 6.30pm so it was good timing to head there straight after baddy. The fish was fresh and heavily doused in ginger. I especially like the spinach fried with bits of century egg and wolfberries (kei chi). Another winner was the steamed egg: the texture was so smooth and perfect! The lala was good as well but not their best highlight.

The steamed fish was delicious and I would recommend the assam version as well.
The restaurant is located in the Bukit Raja commercial center: parking will be difficult, so I'd suggest parking behind (near Maybank) and take a short walk through the lorong between the steamboat and mamak (opposite the Maybank), and you'll find the restaurant next to the car wash center.
